Metal asked:
I am wanting to learn some of Metallica’s easier guitar solos. I haven’t heard much other than most of their hits. I can play most anything unless it involves pick sweeping or ungodly fast playing.
I have been playing for a while but I would consider myself a beginner when it comes to the solos. I already know every bit of ‘One’ including solos.

there aren’t any real easy metallica solos. but the first one that i learned was the intro solo to Fade to Black. the first part of it is easy and then you’ll probably get stuck on the second part of it, but keep trying and one day you’ll get the whole thing. the solo in the middle of the song is real easy to play. the one at the end is hard tho, i can’t do that one yet.
also the beginning of the solo in Master of Puppets is fairly easy. as well as part of the clean guitar solo in One. in One the first part of the distortion solo is easy cuz the tapping is very simple then the tremelo picking part is easy. its fast but its easy.
i dont know how much of a beginner you are or how much solo skills you have, but i assume your a beginner because you are asking for easy ones. as far as i am concerned, metallica solo’s are hard to play. there aren’t really any easy ones. those are just the first ones that popped to my head.
but keep practicing and you’ll be able to Kill Em All one day. thats what i’m tryin to do. haha.
‘Kill em all dont make stupid references fag
