Forex Trend Following – Catching the Mega Moves for Huge Profits

Most traders despite seeing big trends on Forex charts, try and scalp or day the market noise and lose; if they focused on the long term trends, they would make more money in less time.

Forex trends last a long time because they reflect the economic health the country they represent. Economic cycles of boom and bust last a long time and so do the currency trends that reflect them.

A simple fact is that most big trends start from new market highs or lows and by buying and selling breakouts of these levels, you can get in on all the best trends and stay with them.

When you trade a good breakout, you are trading the reality and not predicting and that means you have the odds on your side.

Once the break has occurred, stop losses are easy behind the breakout point and then if the trend goes your way, you need to follow it and to do this you must accept open equity dips.

Most traders get in on good trends but move their stop to close and get stopped out by random volatility. They then see the trend carry on making thousands or tens of thousands of dollars and their not in it!

Forex trend following is all about making big triple digit profits and to do this, you have to accept open equity dips and keep your eyes on the big longer term prize.

I know traders who long term trend follow and trade just a dozen times a year or less but they rack up huge gains and you can too.

So instead of focusing on the market noise and low probability trades, look at the big high probability long term trends and lock into them for mega profits.

Sharing Your Space With the Birds of the World

Hi Everyone! I wanted to share some information with the bird lovers out there as well as the many people that love animals like I do. I educate myself and share it with others so we can all be in harmony with our neighbors-The Animals.

As we all know Spring has turned into summer which means many wild animals are busy raising and defending their babies, especially birds. So if you have been feeling that birds are out to get you because they are dive-bombing you, please understand they aren’t. When young birds begin to learn how to fly, typically July and August, they spend several days on the ground because their muscles are no yet strong enough to allow them for continuous flight. This developing process for the birds is better known as fledging.

If you have been experiencing the “Dive-Bombs” from the parents of the birds of the world, don’t freak out. Take a look at your surroundings as well as the birds and give them a little extra space to help reduce their stress level so they can take care of their young. All they are doing is protecting their babies.

I hope the bird lovers and the people that love animals found this article helpful in understanding bird’s behavior and enjoyable as well.

Fender Kenny Wayne Shepherd Artist Series Guitar

Kenny Wayne Shepherd Guitar

I first heard about the Fender Kenny Wayne Shepherd Artist Series Stratocaster several months ago, but didn’t hear much about it from Fender. However, I noticed today that Fender has information about the guitar on their Web site.

The guitar is based on Kenny’s own ‘61 Fender Strat and features custom-voiced Kenny Wayne Shepherd pickups, an alder body, maple neck w/ rosewood fretboard, and 21 jumbo frets.

This guitar looks pretty nice and has a street price in the $700-$750 range. Guitar Center is reporting that models will be available in October.

As an interesting (to me) aside, Kenny Wayne Shepherd played a small role in my wife and I getting together. At the time, my wife and I had mutual friends and one night I mentioned that I was going to the KWS concert that was coming up. At the time, KWS was not all that well known, but my wife surprised me by knowing who he was and being interested in going to the show. Not only that, she was a fan of SRV, as well. She’s had my heart ever since!

What’s a cheaper electric guitar that has good tone?

Fender has recently introduced the Jim Adkins JA-90 Thinline Telecaster. Adkins is the guitarist and frontman for Jimmy Eat World. I’m not all that familiar with Jimmy Eat World, but this looks like a nice guitar! The guitar features P-90s, a semi-hollow Ash body, medium jumbo frets and comes in red or black.

Another Flip for Dominick (1982) – Alan Gibson & Jeremy Paul

Alan Gibson and Jeremy Paul’s sequel to the cracking time travel comedy-drama The Flipside of Dominick Hide (1980). Although inferior to its predecessor and as such something of a disappointment, it is anything but the disaster that it might have been. Its trouble, I think, is that it has tried to cram too much in to its brief running time, and as such has lost the relaxed ambling pace of the first film. Where the original film managed so elegantly, to balance science-fiction with human drama, here it is often an ugly mix. The film also lacks the humour of the first film, which was often quite delightful.

One of the main concerns of this sequel is that of time travelling ethics. When a colleague of Dominick’s dies in 1982, he returns to just before the incident in order to prevent this from happening. This is seen by all as perfectly acceptable. But when he goes back in time to prevent an argument that he had with his girlfriend/great-great-great-grandmother, he foolishly tells her of his actions and they end up having the same fight again, although this time for different reasons. Do meddling time travellers’ actions allow only time travellers to learn, to grow?

Where this sequel works best, if one is in the mood for such a thing, is in its depiction of the complexities involved in keeping a love-pentagon (don’t ask me how this works, because it doesn’t) going. Dominick (Peter Firth) Loves his wife Ava (Pippa Guard)and his great-great-great-grandmother Jane (Caroline Langrishe), both of whom have fathered his children. Jane has taken up with a musician, and loves both the musician and Dominick, who she knows that she can never be with. Ava has met a juggler/home-helper, but she still loves Dominick even though she is no longer willing to share him with Jane, even if Jane is long dead. There is an air of tragedy about the way this matter is concluded, and it is concluded in the only way it ever really could have been – unhappily (The final scene with Dominick wiping a video is quite devastating.)

Another Flip for Dominick, is disappointing in the context of the original, but if one looks at it from a wider perspective, then it is quietly effective, entertaining and moving, if a little messy. But, I for one, can overlook a little mess for the right time traveller.
